• A third-year tight end who has appeared in 10 games (3 starts) with New England (2015-16) and Denver (2016) during his first two NFL seasons.
• Caught 16 passes for 160 yards (10.0 avg.) in six games with Denver in 2016 after being acquired in a mid-season trade with New England.

PERSONAL: Derby earned first-team all-state honors following his junior and senior seasons at Iowa City High School, leading his team to a state championship as a senior... Completed 98-of-187 passes for 1,820 yards with 23 touchdowns while adding 752 yards rushing as a senior... Also lettered in basketball and baseball...
