2011 Season Highlights:

  • vs. Oakland (9/12): Recorded four solo stops and recovered a fumble that set up the first score of the game, a Matt Prater field goal, in his NFL debut.
  • vs. Cincinnati (9/18): Recorded a solo tackle on a third down in the third quarter forcing Cincinnati to settle for a field goal.
  • at Tennessee (9/25): Made his first NFL tackle for loss.
  • at Green Bay (10/2): Had his first career pass breakup and interception.
  • vs. Chicago (12/11): Had a season-high five tackles.
  • vs. New England (12/18): Started at free safety and finished with a pass breakup

2010: Moore started all 12 games at free safety at UCLA and was a first-team All-America selection by The Sporting News in addition to receiving first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference honors... Named a team captain as a junior and was chosen as a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award (nation’s best defensive back) after finishing third on the Bruins with 77 tackles (51 solo) to go along with one interception (42 yds.), four passes defensed and one fumble recovery.

2009: Moore received second-team All-America accolades (Walter Camp, Associated Press) and first-team All-Pac-10 designation after leading the nation with 10 interceptions (79 yds.) as a 13-game starter for the conference’s
second-ranked pass defense (191.2 ypg)... Finished second in the country with 17 passes defensed and totaled 49 tackles (36 solo) to earn UCLA co-Defensive MVP honors.

2008: Moore started all 12 games for the Bruins as a true freshman and received honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors while recording 60 tackles (32 solo) with three interceptions (5 yds.), seven passes defensed and two fumble recoveries... Helped UCLA rank second in the Pac-10 and eighth in the nation in pass defense (167.7 ypg).

HIGH SCHOOL: Moore attended Susan Miller Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, where he lettered four years as a defensive back and wide receiver... Invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl after totaling 112 tackles, eight interceptions, 18 passes defensed and three fumble recoveries as a senior... Rated as the second-best safety prospect in the nation by Scout.com.

PERSONAL: Moore majored in sociology at UCLA and was named to the Director’s Honor Roll in Fall 2009... Rahim Shaheed Moore was born on Feb. 11, 1990, in Los Angeles.
