The Squeeze: Von Miller debuts new Old Spice commercial

Posted Sep 1, 2017

A concentrated look at the recent juice on the Denver Broncos.

1. Wheels up to the Hall of Fame

Aqib Talib will be inducted into the University of Kansas' Athletics Hall of Fame this weekend, so he and his family are on their way to Lawrence for the festivities.

KU here we come!!! #mybabies

2. 'Come on, Coach. I'm delicate'

Old Spice spokesman Von Miller is back at it again with a hilarious new commercial just in time for the regular season.

"Come on coach, I'm delicate" ☺️ @oldspice

3. That time of year

This weekend roughly 1,184 players will be cut from NFL rosters, and only 320 of them will land spots on practice squads around the league. Six years ago, Chris Harris Jr. was in the same situation as a lot of undrafted free agents — waiting to hear if he had proved enough in the preseason to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. Harris now is recognized as one of the NFL's top cornerbacks, but those memories haven't faded.

4. Good times

Nothing better than a Super Bowl 50 throwback, right?

5. Make a difference, Make-A-Wish

Sure, the Broncos won their final preseason game, but the night belonged to Daniel, a Make-A-Wish recipient who wanted to see a Broncos football game from the sideline. He met nearly the entire roster, along with the Broncos President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway. Daniel also had his 15 minutes of fame when he was honored on the Sports Authority Field at Mile High Thundervision scoreboard.
