The Squeeze: How the Broncos spent their bye week

Posted Oct 9, 2017

A concentrated look at the recent juice on the Denver Broncos.

1. Big men on campus

While many Broncos stuck around Denver to rest and relax, some — including Von Miller, Jamaal Charles, Riley Dixon, Trevor Siemian and Garett Bolles — went back to their old college stomping grounds to see their alma maters.

Great time with these guys back in Evanston. Now, back to work with the boys!

2. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer

Miller stuck around in Texas on Sunday to catch some NFL action in Houston, where the Texans hosted the Chiefs. As Miller says in his video, he was hoping the Broncos' division rival would lose, but Kansas City held on to move to 5-0.

3. Champions in the community

The Broncos' bye week was a banner week in the community for Broncos players, beginning with Max Garcia being named NFLPA Week 4 Community MVP and ending with Emmanuel Sanders continuing to help hurricane relief efforts in Texas.

4. Getting down to business

C.J. Anderson used his time off to conduct some business, forming a partnership with YouTube.
