The Squeeze: Charles pens first-person piece on new beginning

Posted Jun 7, 2017

A concentrated look at the recent juice on the Denver Broncos.

1. 'A New Chapter'

Jamaal Charles says goodbye to Kansas City and hello to the Denver Broncos in this candid, first-person piece that explains the transition to an AFC West rival and his return from injury.

2. Know them from ... Trevor?

Adam Schefter launched a new podcast this year, Know Them From Adam, and Trevor Siemian was a guest on this week's episode. He joined the NFL insider to talk about the Broncos' quarterback competition and answer a couple of random questions on Schefter's "Last Call" segment.

3. Two weeks down, two to go

The Broncos reached the halfway point of Phase Three of their offseason program Monday, which means that there are just two weeks left to get better before the team breaks for the summer.

Blessings... #squad#broncos

4. Spreading the love

It was a big week for the Broncos in the community. The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders cheered up the patients at Children's Hospital Colorado along with Trevor Siemian, who stopped by the hospital Monday after practice.

However, the shining moment of the week was when the Broncos hosted six-year-old Bryce, a Make-A-Wish recipient from Alabama. He got a VIP tour of the facility, signed a contract to become a Bronco for the day and watched practice from the sidelines. After practice ended, Bryce got to meet his favorite players, Von Miller and Derek Wolfe, along with the rest of the team. Bryce ended his time with the Broncos by playing a little backyard football with his family.

4. Coach Ware

DeMarcus Ware is on to his next venture following retirement. He will be a coach on ABC's "Battle of the Network Stars" opposite MMA star and UFC champion Ronda Rousey.
