Broncos Injury Report: Bennie Fowler, Garett Bolles, Bradley Roby among those sidelined Wednesday

Posted Sep 20, 2017

Devontae Booker also saw a full workload as he continues to work his way back from a fractured wrist.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Outside linebacker Von Miller was limited and cornerback Bradley Roby was sidelined for Wednesday's practice, but Head Coach Vance Joseph said that he was "not at all" concerned about the potential availability of either player for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Miller was listed as having a knee injury. Roby was out Wednesday because of an ankle injury. Tight end Jeff Heuerman (shoulder), safety Darian Stewart (groin) and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) also saw limited work Wednesday.

Left tackle Garett Bolles (lower leg contusion) and wide receiver Bennie Fowler III (concussion) were sidelined because of injuries suffered against the Cowboys last Sunday. Fowler is in the league-mandated post-concussion protocol.

Running back Jamaal Charles and cornerback Aqib Talib received veterans' rest days, as they did for one practice in each of the previous two weeks.

Quarterback Paxton Lynch (sprained right shoulder) and cornerback Brendan Langley (sprained knee) remained sidelined with their injuries.

Running back Devontae Booker and defensive end Zach Kerr practiced and were not listed on the injury report. Both have not played so far in the regular season because of their recoveries from a fractured wrist and a knee bruise, respectively.

Joseph had said that he wants Booker to get into "football shape" before he uses him in a game.
