A quick look at the recent buzz on the Denver Broncos.

Numbers say Elway's draft production among NFL's best (Mike Klis, 9News)
Elway has been in charge of the Broncos’ draft since Pat Bowlen put him in control of the team’s football operations in 2011. In his seven drafts, Elway’s 54 picks entering play Sunday have combined to average 32.2 games played, which ranks No. 4 in the NFL.

Peyton Manning hit a hole-in-one at Cherry Hills Country Club (Nicki Jhabvala, Denver Post)
The two-time Super Bowl champion hit a hole-in-one on Saturday on the 12th hole at Cherry Hills Country Club, just south of Denver.

Broncos will try to get Lynch settled in early against Raiders (Jeff Legwold, ESPN)
The Broncos want to put Lynch on the move, so look for a steady diet of rollouts, play-action and safe throws, especially early in the game, to try and get Lynch dialed in against a Raiders defense that hasn’t rushed the passer well all season. The Raiders are last in the league in sacks, with 14, as last season’s Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack, has 5.5 sacks this season. In his three games last season – two starts – Lynch completed 59 percent of his passes at 6 yards per pass attempt as he ran just eight times combined in the two games.

Broncos Q&A with [Joseph] Jones: Inside linebacker enjoys hard-earned NFL debut (Nick Kosmider, Denver Post)
The new Broncos linebacker had a baby girl with his wife, Amber, during his senior season at Northwestern. And he’s leaned on his family more than ever since signing with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent last spring. In the span of a few months, he’s made a living in four different cities, and his wife and daughter, Scarlette, have lived through the uncertainty of the last few months, which has included cross-country drives, Airbnb stays and, finally, Jones’ debut against the Bengals last week.
