Week 17 Playoff Scenarios

The Broncos can lock up the AFC's No. 1 seed with a win or tie against Oakland or a New England loss or tie against Buffalo.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Broncos have already locked up the AFC West and a first-round bye.

On Sunday, the club can clinch its second consecutive No. 1 overall seed in the AFC with a win -- or tie -- against the Oakland Raiders. That would give the Broncos home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. Denver can also wrap up the No. 1 spot with a New England loss or tie against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Below are all the playoff scenarios for Week 17 across the NFL.

AFC

CLINCHED:
Denver – AFC West and first-round bye
New England – AFC East
Cincinnati – AFC North
Indianapolis – AFC South
Kansas City – playoff spot

DENVER BRONCOS (at Oak)

Denver clinches home-field advantage throughout AFC playoffs with:

1) DEN win or tie OR

2) NE loss or tie

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (vs. Buf)

New England clinches a first-round bye with:

1) NE win or tie OR
