BRONCOS EARN FIRST SHUTOUT IN 12 YEARS
The Broncos defeated the New York Jets by a score of 23-0 to earn their 18th all-time shutout and their first in 12 seasons. In limiting the Jets to 100 total yards (59 rushing, 41 passing), the Broncos became just the fifth team in the last 17 years to shut out an opponent while allowing 100 or fewer yards.

BRONCOS WIN TURNOVER BATTLE
The Broncos posted two takeaways (1 INT, 1 FR) to finish +2 in turnover margin. The game marked Denver’s 32nd consecutive victory when winning the turnover battle. The streak, which dates to 2012, is the longest current streak in the NFL and the longest overall since Green Bay (34 gms.) from 2009-13.

THOMAS PASSES SHARPE ON TEAM’S ALL-TIME RECEIVING LISTS
Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas led all players with eight receptions for 93 yards (11.6 avg.), including a 20-yard touchdown reception. Thomas now has 8,475 career receiving yards 56 career receiving touchdowns to pass Broncos Pro Football Hall of Fame TE Shannon Sharpe for second place on the franchise’s all-time lists in both categories.

MILLER REACHES 10 SACKS FOR SIXTH TIME
Broncos OLB Von Miller recorded his 10th sack of the season against the Jets to set a Broncos record with his sixth career 10-sack season. Miller joins Reggie White and DeMarcus Ware as the only players in NFL history (since sacks became official in 1982) to record double-digit sack totals in six of their first seven seasons.

MISCELLANEOUS GAME NOTES

Chris Harris Jr., who was named the team’s nominee for the 2017 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award this week, served as the Broncos’ game captain.
• ILB Brandon Marshall posted a sack and a forced fumble in the first quarter; his sack was his third of the year to give him a single-season career high.
• DL Shelby Harris posted a sack in the first half and now has at least a half sack in each of the last three games.
• QB Trevor Siemian (19-of-31, 61.3%, 200 yds., 1 TD, 0 INTs, 90.8 rtg.) improved to 9-3 all-time as a starter at home (4-1 in 2017).
