ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Broncos have officially announced the trade of Brandon Marshall to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for the Dolphins' second round pick in this year's draft (43 overall) and in 2011. The deal is contingent on Marshall passing a physical.
"I wish Brandon Marshall the best of luck wherever he goes," team captain Daniel Graham said. "I'm just looking forward to this team, what we're going to do in the future."
"We have to come together as a team," he continued. "That's the only way you can win the Super Bowl, as a team. Not one person in particular. It's going to be a great team effort."
The Broncos now hold three selections (11, 43, 45) in the top 45 picks in next week's NFL Draft, one of only two teams in the league -- along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- with so much firepower early in the first two rounds.
The team is also one of six clubs to hold four (11, 43, 45, 80) selections in the top 80 picks in next week's draft.
