
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- On Monday, the Broncos traded Brandon Lloyd to the St. Louis Rams in exchange for a conditional selection in the 2012 NFL Draft.
This season -- Lloyd's third with the Broncos -- he caught 19 passes for 283 yards.
"We appreciate all the hard work that Brandon did during his three years in Denver and wish him the best with the Rams," Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway said via Twitter.
With the move, the Broncos now have five wide receivers on the active roster -- ![]()

"I’m excited about our wide receiver group -- this is as healthy as we’ve been at that position since the start of the year," Elway continued on his Twitter account. "Our young WRs have really emerged and made some plays, and this is a great opportunity for them to continue to step up."
