Gameday Traffic Advisory

Posted Sep 18, 2010

Construction of Federal & Decatur light rail station requiring temporary adjustments to gameday traffic patterns around INVESCO Field at Mile High

Fans planning on attending this Sunday's regular season opener or any other Broncos game on the home schedule should plan on changes to standard stadium game day traffic patterns south of INVESCO Field while construction of the Federal Boulevard and Decatur Light Rail station continues.

  • Decatur, between 13th Ave. and Howard Place is closed as a new bridge is being built over Lakewood Gulch.
  • Federal Boulevard traffic will be reduced to two lanes from three in both directions from Holden to Colfax Boulevard.

Please take these traffic pattern adjustments into consideration as traffic back-ups or delays are anticipated during peak game arrival and departure times.  Fans should arrive as early as possible and try to avoid the areas where traffic pattern changes are planned in order to minimize inconvenience.
