ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- After three players were removed from the roster earlier Friday afternoon, the Broncos added three familiar faces back into the fold.

Woodyard, a team captain in 2010, made 37 tackles and notched one sack last season. McBean, who started four games on the defensive line, forced a fumble and made 17 tackles. Prater, whose season was cut short by injury, made 16 of his 18 field goal attempts in 2010, including a 59-yarder.
As per league rules, any player who signs a new contract cannot practice until the start of the league year, which is scheduled for Aug. 4 -- next Thursday. So the three players won't be back on the Dove Valley practice fields until then. But they're back in orange and blue.
