ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Football is still in full swing in Denver.
But once the season ends, there's still a chance to step into Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
On Saturday, July 21, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw bring their "Brothers of the Sun" Tour to the Broncos' home field.
It's not the first big show held at the stadium -- U2 played a concert earlier in 2011.
“We couldn’t be more excited that Kenny is bringing the big stage with him to Denver this summer”, said Andy Gorchov, stadium general manager. "This is Kenny’s first visit to Sports Authority Field at Mile High, but he’s played stadiums for eight years now and has developed an incredible following in each city and especially among the fans of the team in each stadium. In 2011 he sold out shows at eight NFL stadiums including a New England show that sold out in eight minutes!”
Ticket information for the show will be announced in the coming weeks.
"Tim and I have been great friends since we first toured together, and I can't wait to get back on the road with him," Chesney said. "He's one of my closest friends in music and in life, and I know this tour is going to be something special."
“Our friendship was forged on the road, so it’s going to be a blast heading out with Kenny again,” McGraw said. “We’ll be having as much fun on stage as the fans will be having in the audience.”
