Broncos sign CB Chris Lewis-Harris, waive Taurean Nixon

Posted Jun 14, 2017

The Broncos have a new cornerback competing for a spot on the roster.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos added more veteran experience to their secondary Wednesday when they signed cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris.

Lewis-Harris, a six-year veteran, spent four full seasons with the Bengals to begin his career before he split the 2016 season between Cincinnati and Baltimore. As a Bengal, Lewis-Harris' defensive backs coach was current Broncos Head Coach Vance Joseph.

Through five seasons, Lewis-Harris appeared in 33 games and racked up 14 total tackles, one interception and two passes defensed.

In a corresponding roster move, the Broncos waived cornerback Taurean Nixon.
