Posted Aug 1, 2011

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley, a first-round pick in 2006, is headed to Denver in a trade.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- On Monday, the Broncos executed their second trade for a defensive lineman in the past week, sending an undisclosed 2013 draft pick to Philadelphia in exchange for defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley.

Bunkley has played in 76 games since entering the league as the 14th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, starting 52.

The six-year veteran has accumulated 144 tackles, six sacks and seven passes defensed in his career.

The Broncos also added to the defensive line last week in a trade with Washington for defensive tackle Jeremy Jarmon, and re-signed defensive tackle Marcus Thomas, who was an unrestricted free agent.
