    The first day of the 2017 League Year will end at 11:59:59 p.m., New York time, on March 9. Clubs will receive a personnel notice that will include all transactions submitted to the League office during the period between 4:00 p.m., New York time, and 11:59:59 p.m., New York time, on March 9.

    Trading period for 2017 begins at 4:00 p.m., New York time, after expiration of all 2016 contracts.

Broncos Sign First-Round Pick Roby

The Broncos' entire 2014 NFL Draft class is now under contract after first-round pick Bradley Roby signed on Tuesday.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Tuesday afternoon, the Broncos signed their first-round 2014 NFL Draft pick, cornerback Bradley Roby.

With that, the club's entire draft class is now under contract.

Roby was a starter in all 37 games he played throughout his tenure with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

For his career, he intercepted eight passes and broke up 36 more, ranking third in school history with 226 interception return yards. He returned two of those for touchdowns and scored a total of five touchdowns on defense and special teams.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, he helped improve his draft stock by registering a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, and told reporters that he "definitely" believes he can be a shutdown corner at the next level.

"I think I was the best guy at my position this year (in the draft), honestly," Roby said. "I'm not taking anything away from the other guys, but I think I was the best."

"It's going to make me work harder to prove that throughout this year."

NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock agreed that Roby and No. 8 pick Justin Gilbert "had the best talent of any of the corners in this draft."

He was named All-Big Ten by coaches and media and a third-team All-American by Athlons in his final collegiate season after notching 69 tackles, 16 passes defensed -- including three interceptions -- and two blocked punts.

"When we looked at the board, No. 1, he was the top guy on our board," Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway said during the draft. "When we talked about immediate help and a talented guy like that, he’s the guy that would have the biggest impact on us. So that even made it more of a thrill for us that he was still there."
