Posted Apr 23, 2013

The Broncos announced a multi-year extension with its official radio flagship, now in its 44th year as the club's radio-rights holder.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Last week, the Broncos announced a multi-year extension with the club's official television partner -- 9NEWS.

On Tuesday, the franchise renewed its relationship with its longtime official radio flagship.

The Broncos announced a multi-year extension with 850 KOA, now in its 44th consecutive season as the Broncos’ radio-rights holder.

“The Denver Broncos and 850 KOA have a partnership spanning more than four decades and we are excited to continue that Rocky Mountain tradition,” Broncos Senior Vice President of Business Development Mac Freeman said. “The new simulcast agreement with 103.5 The Fox will further enhance our ability to reach fans with a first-class radio broadcast.”

In addition, 850 KOA's FM sister station, 103.5 The Fox, will simulcast Broncos games beginning this season along with the more than 60 Broncos Radio Network affiliates located throughout the West.

850 KOA’s broadcast crew features Dave Logan (play-by-play), who enters his 17th full season calling games for the club (24th season overall), as well as Ed McCaffrey (color commentary), who is set to begin his second full year providing analysis for listeners.

Fans can listen to 850 KOA on the station’s website, 850KOA.com, as well as on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio mobile app, Clear Channel’s all-in-one free digital listening service.
