What is the best thing about being a Broncos Cheerleader?

Being part of such a positive and inspiring organization, interacting with the fans, and having the opportunity to become part of a family of so many beautiful, talented, and genuinely kind women.

What is your most memorable experience?

Performing for the troops has been the best part of being a Broncos Cheerleader! I had the opportunity to perform for our troops in Guam, at the Ft. Hood military base in Killeen, Texas, and for the American and Australian troops in Alice Springs, Australia. Seeing all of the service men and women and being able to thank them in person for everything they do for our country has by far been the best experience that I've had as a cheerleader!

How do you spend your time in the offseason?

I spend my time in the offseason snowboarding and hanging out with friends and family.  Although, there really is no such thing as "offseason" as we have to continuously work on our dance and fitness training year-round.

What is your occupation and how does being a Denver Broncos Cheerleader affect your work?

I run a full time home based business supporting and educating people on how to improve their health both physically and financially, and I am also the office manager for a chiropractic office.  Being a Broncos Cheerleader while working full time is a huge commitment, but it is absolutely worth it!  As the saying goes, “If you want something done, give it to a busy person.”  It's all about time management and effectively organizing your schedule.

What was your most memorable game as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader?

Although I wasn't a cheerleader at the time, Superbowl XXXII when the Broncos beat the Green Bay Packers 31-24 is definitely my most memorable Broncos game!  I will never forget watching that game with my dad and running outside banging pots and pans after we won!  My most memorable game in uniform was the 2012 season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

What is your favorite book?

My favorite book is The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.  One of my favorite quotes from the book is: “The question we should be asking ourselves is: ‘Who do I need to become?’  If you want to have more, you have to become more.  Success is not something you pursue.  What you pursue will elude you; it can be like trying to chase butterflies.  Success is something you attract by the person you become.”

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I will be running a giant organization of people helping others attain better physical and financial health.  I would also like to start a family within the next 5 years.

What is the best thing about Broncos fans?

Denver has the best fans in the NFL!  They have unwavering dedication and love for their team regardless of whether we win or lose.

What do you do in your spare time to relax?

I spend time with my family and friends, go to the mountains, workout, and read.

What is your best advice to kids?

Follow your own dreams and follow your own heart.  Don't make life choices based on what you think other people want you to do.  The key to success in anything that you do is consistent effort over a long period of time.  Anything is possible if you just believe in yourself and work hard!  Don't pay attention to the superficiality in the world.  You are perfect the way God made you.  Be grateful for all that you have, and always be kind and courteous to absolutely everyone that you meet.

What is the best gift you ever received?

Having the unconditional love and support of my family and close friends has been the best gift I have ever received.  I wouldn't be who I am today without them.

What is your most important goal in life?

My most important goal in life is to help others achieve their goals, and to do so by always encouraging them to follow their heart and maintain their morals and integrity.

How does cheerleading fit into that goal?

One of the main goals of the Broncos Cheerleading organization is to reach out and inspire others in a positive and uplifting way.  As a Broncos Cheerleader, you are required to uphold the highest of morals and integrity, and I feel so blessed to be a part of such an exceptional organization.

What places you would most like to visit?

Europe and Tahiti

Who has been your greatest inspiration?

My mom and my dad.  They have really encouraged me to chase my dreams, but always reminded me to never lose sight of who I am in the process.

What is the one thing that you value most in life?

My parents taught me to always be grateful and to never take anything for granted.  I really value those life lessons because they've enabled me to appreciate all of the little things in life.

Toughest part about being a cheerleader?

Finding the strength to keep going when I'm dead tired at practice or during a game and can barely lift my arms.  It's times like these when I realize that it's not about me; it's about the team and the fans and I have to keep going for them regardless of how tired I am.

Two people you would like to have dinner with?

Albert Einstein because he is an unremarkably brilliant man, and Princess Diana so that I could shake the hand of one of the most unconditionally caring and selfless women in history.

Favorite things to do in Denver?

Anything outside.  The weather here is beautiful and there’s so much to do.  I love going to the mountains, but technically that doesn’t count since there aren’t any mountains in Denver.

Three words that best describe me are:

Driven, loyal, and unconditional.

Most prized possession?

My 1997 Toyota 4-runner with a manual transmission.  I bought her in October of 2004 (it was my first major purchase) and she's still with me today.

What sports do you enjoy watching or playing?

Football has always been my favorite sport to watch, and I played soccer from when I was 7 until I graduated high school.  I’ve always been a bit of a tomboy when it comes to sports and I’ve played just about every sport there is.  I love playing golf during the warmer months, and in the winter I spend most of my time snowboarding in our beautiful mountains.

In what area of your life have you achieved the most success?

I believe that I've achieved the most success in my career and also in surrounding myself with good, genuine people.  It’s been said that you are the combined average of the people with which you spend the most time.  I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by positive, inspiring, and hard working individuals.
